Principal’s Message

Navyug Science College is a reputed institute which has been contributing to human progress by moulding brilliant, creative, committed and caring students who are performing their best in different corners of the world and in diverse spheres of human activity.

Since 1966, this home of learning has offered its students excellent infrastructural facilities along with competent and dedicated faculty who strives for all round development of every student. Alongside, the college regularly organizes innumerable extra-curricular activities to bring out the hidden talent of the students in the form of artistic self expression. Above all, the college gladly carries out its social responsibility by serving the weaker section of the interior villages and socio-economically deprived under N.S.S. and N.C.C. Programmes.

In the years to come, Navyug Science College will certainly continue to have a cutting edge in the field of education as it moves from strength to strength. The top ranks in University Merit Lists, Gold Medals and the high number of First Classes bagged by our students in the examinations of VNSGU reflect our constant quest for academic excellence. The teachers use learner-centric teaching-learning methods to cater to the diversity in the aptitudes, intelligence, learning styles and interests of the students. They use non-traditional teaching methods and tools in ICT. Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities including sports are encouraged to ensure multi-dimensional personality development of the learners. Further students will have ample opportunity to take up teaching and research job in future. The college offers three-year B.Sc. courses in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry and also run P.G. Centre in Chemistry. Many faculty members are M.Phil. , Ph.D. supervisors and many students are pursuing M.Phil. and Ph.D. under their guidance. Our college possesses excellent track record in research in the subject of chemistry.

Vision of our institute is to impart education to create intellectually and morally sound citizens. It is an ideal college where a student focus is paramount, at the same time it fulfills the modern tasks of knowledge generation, thus contributing to the economic, social and cultural benefit of the country and regions where its students work in various capacities.
